None of the Kindles is voice- or mouse-controllable. However, the Touch Screen models can be operated with a single finger, a brush or stylus, etc. which is far easier in many ways than using a mouse.

Voice activated kindle and mobile stand
My Mum is paralized from the neck down following and operation on her spine. Her mind is still sharp and I wish I could give her back the ability to read again unaided.
Once the kindle was supported at eye level it would only take a handful of voice commands to turn pages etc and then she would be empowered to read again.
But not until a very simple to use voice activated kindle exists.
Can anyone help!?
